Saprobes, Symbionts & Parasites: Fungal Ecology in Oak Woodland and Savanna Ecosystems

Waubonsie State Park, Freemont County, Iowa with Katie Thompson, Iowa State University and Jack Phillips, The Naturalist School. We will explore the roles that fungi play in woodland and savanna food webs, particularly in niches that are occasionally exposed to fire. 

This is an outdoor workshop that will include hiking over rugged terrain.


Tuition $25 (Free for TNS members)
